Being Open and Available to the Universal Message of Oneness

Have you frequently caught yourself being totally absorbed in your daily routine, a work or family issue, or maybe solving a current challenge? Running to complete tasks, to meet a goal, or to make a deadline can consume our entire existence. Living in a state of “human-doing” can easily become the norm in daily life. I did this for years on end without a passing thought about my role within the greater whole.  Achieving the goal was my main directive and I missed out on being aware of the present moment and the beauty of simply being.   

It’s important to remember that our words and actions are much like dropping a pebble into a still pond. The ripples created by those words or actions have a far-reaching effect because we are inextricably intertwined energetically with each other and with the universe. 

Separation from the Universal Oneness can happen when we are pursuing goals which might not come from our core authenticity. Basing our goals on the calling of our heart instead of on the orders of our head, brings a sense of purpose and connectivity with the universe. It’s in this place where intuition and wisdom can help guide others to their truth and ultimately to their best and highest. And this energy can elevate the universal consciousness, one person at a time.  

Within the flow Universal Oneness, what you do and what you say matter.

Connecting to the universal flow can start with something as simple as connecting with nature. Observe the synergistic interaction of the plants with the insects. There is a purpose and role that is part of the universal flow. Becoming present to the existence of the golden thread which connects all life always brings me immediately into a state of gratitude; it’s a blessing to be part of this beauty.

The message of Oneness is always there, we just need to make ourselves open and available to hear it. So how can we make ourselves available? Here’s what I do. Almost every day at 11:11 AM, I stop what I’m doing for 1 minute where I consciously stay open and available to receive the message or guidance that might be given at that moment. During this minute, I remain in gratitude for whatever message may come.
